Worship with Us
With God as our audience, Central will come together to celebrate being the people of God and will be sent out as the presence of Christ.
Worship at Central Baptist Church is intended to encourage our response to God’s great love for each of us with this singular task: LOVE GOD — it is the reason we were created.
We worship together to give praise and thanksgiving to God, to profess our devotion to Him, to receive inspiration and instruction for living, and to encourage one another in our common faith.
What is worship like at Central?
We worship through singing, praying, reading God’s Word, hearing the preached Word, giving of tithes and offerings, and by responding to God’s invitation to eternal life and holy living.
We are committed to enriching, traditional worship that generally follows the seasons of the Christian year. The elements of worship (music, readings, children’s sermon, etc.) are built around the Scriptures of the day as identified through the Revised Common Lectionary.
