Central Connections

Central Connections is a time to meet people at church for fun and fellowship.

This ministry is staffed by seniors, for seniors. Meetings are held on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 10 a.m. in the fellowship hall. The day starts with announcements and prayer, followed by a brief devotional presentation by one of our ministers or members. Following the opening session, groups disperse for fellowship around games of bridge, dominoes, or bingo (no cash, just prizes). During the school year, lunch is brought in for $5 a person; in the summer, everyone brings his/her own lunch. Join us and make a Central Connection!

J.O.Y. Ministry

(Just Older Youth)

​The JOY Ministry is open to all who are age 50 and above. It provides opportunities for fellowship, recreation, ministry, and continuing education for senior adults. Special trips, banquets, and other events are planned from time to time. Mission activities provide an expression of the Christian faith we practice. JOY folks enjoy serving lunch to our neighbors once a quarter with Richmond Friends of the Homeless.
